Let's Make Vegan Chai

Let's make vegan chai.

Recommended plant-based milks for chai:

- Oat milk, for the creamiest chai.

- Coconut milk, a bit lighter in the 'creamy' flavour and allows the spices to pop with a hint of coconut aftertaste.

- Almond milk, similar to coconut milk without the aftertaste.

Stovetop directions:

Tea for 1 (double portions for 2, etc.)
You will need saucepan & tea strainer for best chai & easy clean-up.

Add 1/2 cup water to saucepan & 1 hefty teaspoon of CHAISKI (or your own homemade) spice mix. Let water come to a boil.

Once boiling, add 1 heaping teaspoon of black tea & 1/2 plant-based alternative of your choice.
I like oat milk for full milky flavour, however you can use whatever you have in your fridge.

Monitor & stir a few minutes. Once tea starts to rise & boil, turn the stove off.

Chai time!

Smell the spicy goodness.
Get your cup/s ready & pour, using a tea strainer to drain loose leaf spices & tea.
If you like, add vegan honey or brown sugar to sweeten.
